Scientists, Dr. Holland and Dr. Carl Meyer started tracking Tiger Sharks near Maui (2012/2013), after people reported they were being bit by sharks. They decided to capture 24 Tiger Sharks and attach tracking devices to them in order to keep track of where they traveled.
The people at the Guy Harvey Research Institute and the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation have been investigating Tiger Shark movements in the North Atlantic Ocean using tracking devices such as underwater listening devices and satellite tags in order to find out they travel to.
